The 2017/2018 season of the Ghana Premier League will commence on March 2 and March 3.
The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi disclosed this at a consultative meeting in Accra on Wednesday.
He stated that before the season starts, they will be a launch for the GPL season on Monday, February 26.
The GFA President also announced that as part of efforts to support the development of football at the lower-tier level his outfit would absorb a portion of the officiating fees to be paid by all Division One League clubs.
He said the clubs will only pay GHC 3000 out of the total GHC28,800 officiating fee.
