Veteran Ghanaian Comedian, Asonaba Kweku Darko, popularly known as Super OD has passed away.
A family source told the News Hunter Magazine that he died on Tuesday morning.
Super OD who has been battling with illness for some time now passed on at the Sweduro Government Hospital in the Central Region of Ghana.
Super OD died at the age of 84.
Super OD acquired the skill of making witty jokes from his mother who was nicknamed “Jack Johnson” for her jokes and soon found out that his jokes were in high demand and started hopping from one concert party to another.
He was survived by thirteen (13) children.
Within a short span of time he had been with Akwasi Effah’s Band, Happy Stars, Akomanyi’s Guitar Band and finally settled with the Oppong Kyekyeku Guitar Band.
He was survived by thirteen (13) children.
