Kasapa FM’s Obaasima Serwaa Akoto has been appointed Ghana Country Director for World Affirmative Action (WAFAA).
WAFAA is a United Nations (UN) certified and affiliated organization with chapters in Nigeria, UK, South Africa among others with an objective of championing the course of females across the world, advocate for balance and equal opportunities for both genders, gender development and women advancement.
Obaasima Serwaa Akoto, the host of a social and female-centred program ‘Efie Nsem’ on Kasapa 102.5 FM, comes onboard with vast experience as she has been involved in gender advocacy for over a decade.
The former Space FM lead newscaster is delighted at the opportunity granted her to further lead the crusade for women empowerment.
