Ghanaian actress, Yvonne
Okoro, has donated $2,600 (about ¢12,000) to Yikurugu D/A Primary School in
Upper East Region of Ghana.
Her gesture follows reports
that the school lacked desk—and the pupils lay on their stomachs for several

Yvonne was hopeful other

“If you are privileged enough to have sat on a desk, then I
think that this the time you should get up and do something and help others
too. You know how interesting it is to sit on a desk. And if even you were not
privileged enough and you have become somebody, this is the time that you must
remember what you went through and hope and wish that somebody will not go
through it as well,” she said.
Based on this, please take time and read the quote below:
2 Corinthians 9:6-7 English
Standard Version (ESV)
The
Cheerful Giver
6 The
point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and
whoever sows bountifully[a] will also reap bountifully. 7 Each
one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under
compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
