Sunyani-based Hip-Hop/Hiplife artiste, Frank Asare known in showbiz circles as ‘Nsemonee Katapila’, has urged Radio Stations in the Brong Ahafo region, to play more songs of their indigenes, to popularise their works on the local and international entertainment scenes.
He singled out Suncity Radio for leading this laudable crusade and urged others to follow suit.
“Play more of BA tracks as Suncity Radio is doing now,” Katapila told DJ Shatar on Suncity Radio’s ‘High Way Drive’, Friday, late noon show.
“For now, BA music is moving, thanks to Suncity Radio’s #BAMusicMustRise initiative, which is good for Artistes to showcase their works and to project the Brong Ahafo region to the entertainment world,” he stated.
Nsemonee Katapila urged Ghanaian music lovers to watch out for his yet to be released song which features Yaa Pono in August, this year.
