Veteran Ghanaian gospel artiste, Yaw Sarpong, has revealed that he will soon have a collaboration with Sarkodie.
He indicated that they are already discussing it.
“Sarkodie is one of the musicians I admire so much and the two of us are in talks for collaboration soon,” he said in an interview with Graphic Showbiz.
Yaw Sarpong asserted that most of the secular songs are way better than some gospel songs.
“I have had the opportunity to listen to a lot of secular songs and Gospel songs and I must say that I prefer the secular ones. Although not all the songs are good, the majority are great.
“There is nothing wrong with singing love songs and I hold nothing against secular musicians singing about love,” he said.
Yaw Sarpong is known for popular songs like Waye Awie, Esther, Judas, Yenka Nkyere Agya (Joseph) and Hawa.
He is working towards the release of his 26th album titled The Nine.
