King Promise Hopes For Better Entertainment Centres In Ghana Soon

One of the things that award-winning Ghanaian artiste, King Promise, is hoping for, is better entertainment centres in the country.

He said it is his prayer for Ghana to achieve what the European countries have achieved in terms of entertainment facilities.

According to him, it will be wrong for someone to compare Ghana to these countries—because Ghana is a developing country.

“They are far developed, obviously, we are a developing country, so, it will be unfair to compare, but we wish and pray that we also get to the height that they’ve attained. We are totally different, we’ve got big arts, so, maybe, a lovely place, their event centres, where we do the shows, I mean everything … as we keep working, we’ll get there,” he said in an interview on Class FM.

King Promise, known in private life as Gregory Bortey Newman, is currently promoting his latest track titled ‘Abena’.

The Afrobeat, Highlife, R&B and Hip-Hop artiste, was nominated in a number of categories for the 2018 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs), including New Artiste of the Year.

He called on his fans to keep supporting him because he has a lot of songs to churn out.
