Ghanaian Blogger, Ameyaw Debrah Reveals How He Nearly Lost His First Child During Birth

Popular Ghanaian blogger, Ameyaw Kissi Debrah, has revealed how he nearly lost his first child.

He disclosed that the birth of his son, Nathan came with some complications.

The owner of Ameyaw Debrah Media told Anthony Dzamefe on the ‘A Father’s Day Out’ show that his wife’s time to give birth passed.

One day when he left home to watch the Miss Universe Beauty Pageant in Las Vegas, he woke up to see multiple calls from his mother-in-law.

“After the pageant, because I have a flight in the morning, I placed my phone on silent and set the alarm so I could wake up early. When I woke up to check my phone, I had all these missed calls from my mother-in-law that my wife was in labour,” he stated.

The good news about the delivery of his son was passed to him when he was on his way to the hospital in the United States in 2017.

He got to know about the complications of his son’s delivery which was done through a cesarean section when he reached the hospital.

Talking about the critical condition that his son was in, Ameyaw Debrah said the medical officers discovered that faecal matter had entered the nose of his son after he pooped.

Seeing his son grow into a healthy and lovely boy makes him happy.
