Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, otherwise known as Shatta Wale, has stated that people are putting a lot of pressure on him to marry his Baby Mama–Shatta Michy.
It appears the pressure has yielded positive results–because he has revealed that he will tie the knot with Michy next year.
Shatta Wale made their marriage plans known when he had an interview with Joy FM in Accra.
“…We’re working on our wedding so people should watch out next year. A whole lot of Ghanaians are worried, people are just giving me pressure asking me when will you marry her? People are giving me pressure and stuff but I really want to watch God’s time. I want to do something nice for her because she’s been with me for so long and she’s supported me. People say she’s gone through disgrace but I call it grace,” he disclosed.
Barely two weeks ago, Shatta Wale posed the ‘Will you marry me’ question to Michy during the launch of his ‘The Reign’ album at the Fantasy Dome of the Trade Fair Centre in Accra.
