Kojo Cue Asks Ghanaian Artistes To Do Collaborations Instead Of Diss Songs

Ghanaian Hip-Hop/Afro-Pop artiste, Linford Kennedy Amankwaa, popularly known as Kojo Cue, has asked Ghanaian musicians to stop beefing.
He said they should rather do collaborations.
“I’m always torn when it comes to rap beef in Ghana because, on one hand, I know what unity and concentration on a singular vision can do for us … on the other hand, rap is a contact sport and if you get hit, you are required to hit back …The fans enjoy it though,” he wrote on Twitter.
According to him, it is not necessary unless those involved are making money out of it.
“I’d much rather we did collaborations instead of diss songs. We could go hard on songs together and let the fans hype over who killed who whilst making hit songs and monetizing the content. Nobody wins when the family feuds, except if the family monetizes the feud,” Kojo Cue added.
His comment follows the lyrical battle between Strongman and Medikal which has garnered a lot of attention in the country.
