The Sunyani Youth Development Association (SYDA) has presented 200 pieces of washable nose masks to the Minister of Employment and Labour Relations and Member of Parliament for Sunyani West Constituency, Mr Ignatius Baffour Awuah.

The gesture was part of the association’s efforts to help fight against the Coronavirus.

Nana Oboaman Bofotia Boa Amponsem II, the Krontihene of Sunyani Traditional Area led the Association to present the Masks. He said the Nation is at war and every Ghanaian must contribute his quota to help Ghana win this battle.

He cautioned the general public to strictly comply with the directives of the President and the health workers so that nation could solve the problem once and for all.

Mr Daniel Tabiri Boahene, the Aid to Mr Baffour Awuah, who received the masks on his behalf, thanked SYDA for the gesture.

The association is producing more than 3,000 pieces for the public and the second presentation would be done to the Sunyani Traditional Council within this week.

There are more than 12 models of free training being run by the Association.

The association is, therefore, inviting the public, particularly the idle youth to come and learn a trade.
