I Didn’t Take A Penny Nor Land Cruiser From Dr Kwaku Oteng Before Joining Angel FM – Captain Smart Dispels Rumours

Captain Smart has quashed all the rumours surrounding his movement from Adom FM to Angel FM in Accra.

After it was rumoured that his resignation from the Multimedia Group was as a result of an inducement package received from the owner of Angel Broadcasting Network, Dr Kwaku Oteng, Captain Smart has debunked such rumours.

He told Zion Felix in an exclusive interview on the ‘Uncut Show’ that he didn’t take a penny from Dr Kwaku Oteng before joining the station.

The outspoken journalist also denied taking a Land Cruiser from his boss. He stated that all the cars he owns currently were bought by himself—as he detailed the years he bought the cars and licensed.

He tagged such reports as just mere speculations which do not have any substance of truth.

Captain Smart revealed Dr Kwaku Oteng’s interest to work with him started a long time before he even joined Adom FM.

According to him, the have been having a back and forth discussion for a long time but he finally agreed to work with him in May this year after has done the necessary checks.

Captain Smart, who loves the radio job said he do spiritual and physical checks before he joins any radio station or accepts to do any work.

He reiterated that Dr Kwaku Oteng has not given him anything and he has not demanded anything from him yet—but they just want to work and prove that Ghana can become a better country if the media rise and do their work well.

Captain Smart disclosed that his new network and platform will be used to reshape and reengineer the faculties of this country.

He added that he doesn’t respond to such rumours because they don’t warrant his attention and time.
