Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Black Boi, has described his song titled, ‘Bibiaa Beye Fine’, currently enjoying massive airplay across the country, as an inspiration to him and the numerous Ghanaian youth, to aspire to greater heights in life.
He has therefore, advised the youth of the country, to take their time in the pursuit of their life’s ambitions.
“There’s no need to hurry in life by rushing to acquire wealth through foul means, just take the steps to success one after the other and God willing, you will be up where you want to be on the social ladder,” he admonished.
Black Boi gave the advice in a live interview at the studios of Suncity Radio with Melvina Frimpong Manso on Showbiz 971, over the weekend.
Commenting on the development of Artistes and the music industry in the Brong Ahafo region, Black Boi urged Event Organizers to feature indigenous Artistes on their bills, instead of always going for only artistes from outside the region for their shows. This could also go a long way to show case talents in the region and project it to the creative arts world.
“I am going to set the stage by organising a free musical show in Sunyani in June, 2018, to whip up enthusiasm amongst the youth, and to promote the region. On the bill will be artistes like Yaa Pono, Ras Kuku, Epixode and others,” he said.
On his future, Black Boi told Queen Melvina, “By the end of 5 years, my song should impact positively on others, to wake up and work on their God-given talents.”
“Man has to follow the process of creation to succeed, because there’s a reward behind whatever you are doing so never give up on your efforts,” he encouraged.
