Ghanaian singer, Wendy Shay, has appreciated the support from her fans.
She was grateful for the support given to her in a recent interview that Newshuntermag.com came across.
The RuffTown Records artiste was happy about them streaming her songs.
This is the reason why she always organizers a free concert.
“They stream my music.
“I was the topmost streamed female artiste last year [2022] so I thought, ‘Why not do something for my fans?” the ‘Heaven’ singer stated on 3Music.
She added: “It’s very big to me. I mean I am who I am because of [them]. They play a very big role so I feel like that is the best way I can give back to them for them to feel the connection [we share] and know that I think about them too.”
Wendy Shay’s 2023 edition of the Shay Concert is happening at the West Hills Mall in Accra today, Saturday, January 7.
Supporting artistes include Shatta Wale, Medikal, Fameye, Kelvyn Boy, Mr Drew, Lasmid, AK Songtress and Eno Barony.
