Bra Dea Foundation has fulfilled its promise to donate face masks to radio stations in Sunyani.
On Wednesday, August 26, 2020, the foundation and its partners donated face masks to selected radio stations in the capital of the Bono Region.
Thirteen (13) radio stations and one television station benefited from the first phase of the donation.
Angel FM, Cheers FM, Akonoba FM, Metro FM, Space FM, Moonlight FM, Sky FM, Suncity Radio, Ark FM, Heaven FM, Radio B.A.R, Greener FM and Adwumapa FM are the radio stations which received face masks from Bra Dea Foundation and Candy’s Support Worldwide.
BA TV was the part of the media outlets which benefited from the COVID-10 preventive items.
All the handlers of these media outlets warmly welcomed the team of Bra Dea Foundation. They expressed their gratitude to the foundation for the gesture.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bra Dea Foundation, Michael Edwards Kwasi, in his address covered by www.newshuntermag.com commended the workers of these media outfits for their hard work in the midst of the Coronavirus outbreak.
He stated that they are considered as part of the front line workers.
Mr Michael Edwards revealed the remaining radio stations will receive their share of the face masks in the next phase of the ongoing charity project dubbed ‘Face Masks For All’.
Bra Dea Foundation and its partners have aimed to distribute over 2,000 face masks in the Bono Region to help combat the spread of the Coronavirus.
Parliamentary Candidate for the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) in the Sunyani East Constituency, Francis Kwabena Kusi, who was part of them team, advised the general public to adhere to the safety protocols outlined by the government and health officials.
