Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Fast-rising Ghanaian vocalist, Imrana has finally parted ways with Midas Touch Inc, who were once the co-management of the Late Ebony.

This sudden exit follows a misunderstanding and failure on the part of the record label to deliver their promises to the young artiste-Imrana.

According to Imrana, Midas Touch came in when he blew nationwide with his emotional viral song ‘Imagine Say’ somewhere around May 2019.

He said the label signed him for three (3) years and then after 5 months of now work done, they asked him to sign a new contract lasting five years.

After the agreed on the new contract, he mounted pressure on the label which made them released his first single under Midas Touch with Fameye titled WHO BORN YOU.

Shockingly, the collaboration was personally done by the artiste, he recruited Fameye on that song himself.

After 1 year 6 months into the contract, only a single track has been released from the label.

Imrana lamented the management of Midas Touch Inc. also failed to give him the accommodation that they promised. The situation compelled him to sleep in the studios and sometimes perches at a friend’s place.

The talented musician stressed that all he wanted was the label to push his songs out there.

“I record songs every day and nothing was done about it, anytime I complain they tell me I am arrogant,” he stated.

Imrana took his social media platforms to announce that he no longer wants to work with the label.

He wants to be on his own and start all over again. He believes his fans will not give up on him because he has a lot to offer. Thus, from now he is going to take full responsibility for his music career and any other thing.

Imrana is currently part of the VGMA21 unsung category.
