The children of late Ghanaian actor, Osofo Dadzie has appealed to President Akufo-Addo to give him a state burial.
They made this call when speaking in an interview with Christian Agyei Frimpong on Onua FM.
According to them, the support of the government is needed because of the difficulty they are facing.
Osofo Dadzie’s children believe he served the country well—so the government should do its best to help give him a befitting burial.
“We don’t have money and we want to call on the government to take up the burial of our late father, give him a state burial because he, together with the rest of his colleagues really served Ghana well,” they pleaded.
Osofo Dadzie, known in private life as Frimpong Manso, passed on at the age of 81.
His sad demise was announced on Monday, August 10, 2020, by Mr Beautiful who visited him some time ago when he was bedridden.
