Parliamentary Aspirant Vows To Empower The Youth Through Creative Arts In Tano North

A parliamentary aspirant for Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Bennett Asante Nkrumah, has outlined his plans for the youth in the Tano North constituency.

In a chit-chat with www.newshuntermag.com, Nana Kotopre, as he is affectionately called, disclosed his readiness to make development and accountability his hallmark.

He also aimed to empower the youth through skills training and others to reduce the high rate of unemployment in the country.

“I want to establish Skills Training centres to train the Youth who wants to learn a trade but do not have money. YOUTH in Fashion, YOUTH in Leather Works, YOUTH in Beads Making, YOUTH in Building and Construction, YOUTH in Hair Dressing YOUTH in Carpentry…etc,” he said.

The GUM parliamentary candidate detailed how he hopes to nurture the God-given talents of the children and youth in the Tano North constituency. 

He stated: “I want to establish Creative Arts Talent Development Centers to help Train the Children and Youth on their God-given talents for it to become either a full or part-time career.”

If voted as a Member of Parliament in the forthcoming 2020 elections, the young and energetic parliamentary hopeful wishes to help establish a Teacher Training College within his first 4 years in the Constituency.
