I Did Not Compose ‘3mer3 Dane’ For NDC And I’m Not An NDC Member – Dumasua Assemblyman, Mascot Replies Aseidu Nketia

The Assemblyman of Dumasua Electoral Area, Hon. Emmanuel Gyamfi aka Xcot De Mascot, who doubles as a musician, has refuted claims made by Mr Aseidu Nketia that he has joined the NDC because of the party’s campaign promise of paying assembly members in Ghana.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of a mechanist bole hole project of NDC parliamentary candidate of Sunyayi West, Millicent Amankwaa Yeboah last Wednesday 21/10/2020 in Dumasua, General Mosquito said the Assemblyman of the area has joined NDC because of their campaign promise to pay all assembly members salary.

This has raised a hullabaloo in the area since the Assemblyman Mascot is a known member of NPP.

Rebutting to his claim in interviews on Sunyani-based Edwumapa 98.9 FM last Wednesday, Life 94.7 FM in Kumasi, & Anapua 105.1 FM in Kenyasi, the finest Assemblyman justified that he attended the program not because he is an NDC member but as an assemblyman of the area who is ready to welcome everyone to aid development in his electoral area.

He further refuted the criticism that because he supports NDC, that is why he wore the “3mer3 Dane” attire to the program which Mr Brogya Gyamfi, an NDC communicator was using to make emphasis during the program.

He explained, “I’m a musician and my latest song is “3mer3 Dane” which I’m promoting. I didn’t compose “3mer3 Dane” for any political party, it is a song expressing how things have changed in my life and I wear it attire to assembly meeting and any other program I attend nowadays to promote the song.”

He justified that he is a proud NPP member and he greatly admires the popularly free SHS policy of Nana Addo which his brothers are benefiting from.

However, he said, he is ever ready to work with every party or individual who will aid development in his electoral area Dumasua.
