Salma Mumin Shamefully Apologizes To MTN Ghana Following Her False MoMo Claims

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Sometimes it is difficult to understand a section of the popular figures in Ghana. If you do not have GHS 10,000 in your MoMo wallet, why should you lie?

After MTN Ghana threatened to sue Salma Mumin, the actress has apologized over the false MTN Mobile Money (MoMo) claims she made.

The Salma Eatery owner claimed in a post on Instagram that about GHS 10,000 was withheld from her business account.

She asked her followers to share their experiences on the subject—and called out the company to look into that.

However, investigations conducted by MTN Ghana revealed her claims were not true.

The company, therefore, cautioned her to retract her statement and apologize.

Failure to do this, MTN Ghana threatened to sue her sorry ass.

Less done 24 hours after MTN’s statement, Salma has apologized and retracted her false claims.

She stated that she made a mistake—and it was due to misapprehension.

I think MTN Ghana’s rejoinder was timely and this will deter others from doing the same.

Below is a screenshot of Salma Mumin’s apology post.
