Popular Ghanaian songstress, Wendy Addo, known in showbiz as Wendy Shay, has detailed how her love for music started.
The Rufftown Records artiste revealed the influence of her family members, who are musically inclined inspired her to do music.
She believes music is in her DNA and she cannot survive without it.
“Nana Ampadu is my grandfather from my father’s side and my grandfather on my father’s side was also a musician,” the 24-year-old singer disclosed in an interview on Kantanka TV.
She added: “My mother is a musician, my auntie whom I stayed with is also a musician and she was the one who taught me how to harmonize voice.”
This should tell parents and guardians that their children are observing whatever they do, so they should try their best and inculcate positive things in them.
If they grow to become a misfit in society, they will surely talk about who they learn the negative things from.
