After composing a song about Slay Queens, Sista Afia does not want to be tagged as a Slay Queen.
The popular Ghanaian songstress told Abeiku Santana in an interview that she doesn’t want to have anything to do with this Slay Queen stuff.
She clarified that singing about Slay Queens does not make her a Slay Queen.
Sista Afia was also not happy about the notion that Slay Queens are prostitutes.
“Please I only did a slay queen song but I’m not a slay queen myself.
“Now everybody is making slay queen look like an ashawo (prostitution) thing so I don’t even want to have that name on me even though I have sung about it before. I don’t want to have anything to do with it,” the ‘Jeje’ singer stated.
