Veteran Ghanaian musician, Akwaboah Snr has disclosed his happiness over the kind of songs his son-Akwaboah Jnr churns out.
He expressed his joy during an interview with DJ Advicer on Happy FM.
“I thank God no one but my son copied my style. I am pleased he does my kind of music and plays the keyboard as I do,” he stated.
According to him, he realized that his son sounds like him just recently—though people have been saying that for a long time.
“They have always said we have similar voices and I just realised how much he sounds like me just by listening to him now,” the veteran musician posited.
He explained that he made his son listen to most of his songs when growing up.
“…And that is how he learnt from me and also sounds like me,” he clarified.
