Popular Ghanaian musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, otherwise known as Shatta Wale, has opened up on how his tweet helped Meek Mill to get his stolen phone back.
The American rapper sadly announced his phone was pickpocketed in Accra.
This was hours after photos of him enjoying his stay in Ghana and riding a bike with some young men in the streets of Accra flooded social media.
After his post about the stolen phone, Wale begged the ‘street’ to return the phone to Meek.
He tweeted earlier: “Streetz if you know you have meek mills phone pls return am …that’s if it’s true.
You can’t do that to a real hustler .. by Moro morning Return am 🙏 Meek inspires all of us on the street a lot 🙏❤️ #1DON.”
Following this, the Shatta Movement leader has confirmed that Meek Mill has gotten back his phone after he pleaded with the ‘street’.
Shatta Wale said in a tweet Newshuntermag.com came across: “So my tweet about Meeks phone helped, they took it back …clap for the streetz ❤️🩸👏👏👏👏.”
In another development, Meek wants to work with a Ghanaian artiste on the Dream Chasers label.
