Ghanaian Premier League Club, Asante Kotoko has parted ways with Coach Maxwell Konadu.
The decision was announced via a post Newshuntermag.com sighted on the club’s official Twitter handle.
In the interim, Coach Johnson Smith has been appointed to take over.
“Club Notice, Management of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club wishes to inform the general public that it has decided to part ways with Coach Maxwell Konadu as its Head Coach with immediate effect.
“Coach Johnson Smith has been appointed to lead the team in the interim,” the tweet read.
This decision comes after Kotoko lost to Accra Great Olympics at home in a league encounter.
Maxwell Konadu rejoined Asante Kotoko barely a year ago after his previous stint with them.
