Ghanaian actor and politician, John Dumelo has requested for a recount of the ballot at the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.
In a letter sighted by Newshuntermag.com, the Ayawaso West Wuogon NDC Parliamentary Candidate said his decision for this move is due to several irregularities at some polling centres in the constituency.
He added that there was swapping of his figures and that of NPP’s candidate, Lydia Seyram Alhassan at polling centres.
John Dumelo’s action comes following reports that he had 37,778 votes while Lydia Seyram Alhassan polled 39, 851 in the provisional results.
