Popular Ghanaian pastor, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, has reacted to the LGBTQ debate in Ghana.

After the issue relating to LGBTQ became topical in Ghana, reports about some Members of Ghana’s Parliament being denied visas emerged.

Commenting on this during a sermon Newshuntermag.com has seen, Rev Owusu Bempah told these countries to keep their visas.

He added that they are not in heaven.

“I hear that if you openly declare opposition to LGBTQ+ whenever you even apply for a visa you will be denied, let them take their visas … if I don’t go abroad (what is it) are they in heaven. Pastor, that which is hated by God should, by all means, be avoided.

“Somethings are sins and others are hated actions in the sight of God. It is better to indulge in the former than the letter. God forgives sins but doesn’t forgive acts that He hates,” he stated.

A lot of pastors, chiefs and opinion leaders in the country have spoken against the LGBTQ issue.

Parliament is in preparation to pass the Anti-LGBTQ bill into law—and it will criminalize LGBTQ activities in Ghana.
