Ghana Police Service Confirms The Arrest Of A Civilian Driving A Police Vehicle At Midnight In Sunyani (Watch Video + Statement)

The Ghana Police Service has confirmed the arrest of a civilian driving a police vehicle at midnight in Sunyani.

In a statement sighted by, the Ghana Police Service revealed that the civilian, Daniel Tibiri Boahen, was arrested on the night of Sunday, December 6, riding the vehicle.

Some youth of Sunyani in the Bono Region who were alarmed arrested and handed him over to the Police.

“Police confirms the arrest of one Daniel Tibiri Boahen, a civilian sighted driving a Police Nissan pickup vehicle with registration number GP 3329 on the night of 6th December, 2020 by the youth of Sunyani who handed him over to Police. Police have impounded the vehicle, which was auctioned earlier this year by appointed auctioneers as unserviceable after going through due processes to one Abu James, at Bongo in the Upper East region. Investigation continues,” the Police said in a statement.
