Money has been an essential object from generation to generation. While many people use genuine means to get it, others will try to use illegitimate ways to get money.

Who doesn’t love money? – used to be a rhetorical question mostly asked by me until I came across this statement made by Nana Kwame Ampadu.

The veteran Ghanaian musician has said in a recent interview that he will always choose fame over money.

“Some people came to the world for money and others for fame. But I’ll always choose fame over money,” Nana Ampadu told Rev Nyansa Boakwa on Happy 98.9 FM’s NsemPii Show.

“I’m not rich. Unfortunately for me, God didn’t bless me with riches…”

“I thank God I don’t beg to eat,” he stated.

Nana Ampadu took delight in how many people regard him for the niche he has carved for himself.

“At the mention of my name as their father, some people sometimes give them gifts. If I was rich, proud and arrogant, I doubt people will do all these things for them,” the veteran music disclosed.
