The nominees’ list for the 2020 edition of the Ghana National Gospel Music Awards has been announced.
For the first time, some musicians and a media personality in the Bono Region were nominated in the various categories.
Nti Anane, Prophet David Kyeremeh, Onasis Kontor and J Life FM’s Freda Owusuaah Bioh earned nominations in this year’s edition of the award scheme.
Nti Anane clinched two nominations in the Praise Song of the Year and Traditional Song of the Year categories while Prophet David Kyeremeh also had a nomination in the Praise Song of the Year category.
Onasis Kontor grabbed a nomination in the Male Vocalist of the Year category, battling with Akesse Brempong, Carl Clottey, MOG, Nacee, Omari Kissi Jnr and EBA.
Additionally, J Life FM’s Freda Owusuaah Bioh bagged a nomination in the Radio/TV Gospel Music Programme of the Year.
Freda was nominated in the same category with Franky 5 of Hitz FM, Nii Noi of ATV, Starz TV’s Tee Jay, Pastor Jerry of Nhyira FM, Some Me So – Angel FM and Pas Ato Acquah of Joy FM.
The 2020 Ghana National Gospel Awards will be held on February 20, 2021, at a yet to be announced venue.
