Media personalities in Ghana have been advised to do their best to protect the peace in Ghana currently.

Felix Agyei, well known as Mr Lattus, a media practitioner in Sunyani called on his colleagues to be mindful of their words as the country prepare towards the December 7 general elections.

Speaking in an interview with Newshuntermag.com, Mr Lattus stated that media personalities have a huge role to play when it comes to nation-building.

According to him, whatever they say have the tendency to make or break the peace that the country is enjoying.

Mr Lattus, who plies his trade with Sunyani-based Heaven FM, said since media personalities have the powerful tools to reach the masses, they have to be mindful of whatever they say.

He stressed that they should be agents of peace instead of engaging in any activity that will jeopardize the peaceful nature in Ghana.

Mr Lattus also spoke against a section of media personalities publicly declaring their support for their favourite political parties.

The Heaven FM Live Worship host stated that since they are serving the masses, it would be better if they keep whoever they support privately.

Before, during and after the elections, Mr Lattus emphasized the vital roles that media personalities in the country have to play to safeguard the peace in Ghana.
