The campaign to get Mark Okraku Mantey named as the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture is getting intense.

Ghanaian artiste manager, Emmanuel Barnes, popular known as Mr Logic, has begged President Akufo-Addo to appoint Mark Okraku Mantey as the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture.

During an interview with MzGee on 3FM, the vocal artiste manager reiterated that Mr Okraku Mantey is the best candidate for the job.

He pleaded with Nana Akufo-Addo to forget the rest of the candidates and give the position to Mark Okraku Mantey.

“Your Excellency, we beg you, because you are our father. We don’t want anybody from any sector. Whether he is a doctor, pharmacist or whoever, we don’t want them. For a Deputy Minister, we want only one person who is experienced and rich in this area…Mark Okraku Mantey,” he said.

Mr Logic claimed those who are contending with Mark know the truth that he qualifies for the position.

If he is not given the position, Logic said they won’t keep quiet until Mark Okraku Mantey is appointed the Deputy Minister.

He was optimistic President Akufo-Addo will listen to them and grant their wish.
