Ghanaian actress and television host, Ama K Abebrese has reacted to Akuapem Poloo’s court issue.
Akuapem Poloo was pleaded guilty to all three charges and was convicted on her own plea by the court presided over by Christina Cann, on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.
This was on the back of the nak*d photo she posted with her son some months ago.
While she is waiting to be sentenced, Ama K in a post sighted by Newshuntermag.com prayed for the judge to be lenient.
According to her, the actress and model did not mean to harm her own child.
Ama wrote on Twitter: “I myself saw Akuapem Polio’s pics online and reported it for Instagram to take them down. The pictures were removed and she apologised publicly. She is his mother and I don’t think she meant any harm to her child. However I don’t think she should be handed a jail sentence.
“I hope the judge is lenient in this case. There are literally peadophiles and child molesters whom are are walking free. I hear of some cases where some people who have raped and sodomisied children are not prosecuted.”
