Ghanaian actress, Beverly Afaglo has narrated how she sadly lost a movie role.
She made this known in discussion with Naa Ashorkor on Asaase Radio’s ‘Between Hours’ program which Newshuntermag.com has chanced upon.
As a breastfeeding mother, who wanted to pursue her acting dream, the actress recalled her last scene for a movie role delayed.
It was supposed to be shot around 5:00 PM but it delayed till 11 PM.
While on the set, Beverly said she received a call from her mother who complained about the baby’s condition of not sleeping—and they have given her all the milk available.
Due to this, she rushed to the house to take care of the baby by informing the producer.
A week after the incident, Beverly averred she received a phone call from a colleague who told her that her role has been taken because of what happened.
Meanwhile, the role she played was for a series.
She indicated that it is difficult to be an actress and take care of the home as well.
