Ghanaian comedian, Abdul Waris Umaru has reacted to the murder case at Kasoa.

Speaking in a video that Newshuntermag.com came across, the comedian stated that mallam and juju contents on television stations in the country should be partly blamed for the murder case at Kasoa by some teenagers.

He said the get rich money-making schemes on television is not helping.

Waris believes a section of young folks in the country are influenced because of what they watch on television.

In this vein, he called on the National Communication Authority (NCA) and other responsible authorities to check these channels.

His comment follows the alleged ritual murder case at Kasoa—of which two young boys were arrested for killing a 10-year-old boy.

Comedian Waris was also not happy about how Ghanaians are not speaking against what’s being shown on television.

He bemoaned that Ghanaian children are at risk.
