A nondenominational choral music group in Berekum named Adikanfo Chorale Ghana on 16th May 2021 visited the World of Friends Children’s Home.
The group spent quality time at the home treating the children with good Ghanaian choral compositions.
Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the group, Mr Emmanuel Ankamah expressed his excitement for the opportunity to visit the home.
He encouraged the children not to belittle their beginning but rather focus on God’s purpose for their lives.
Mr. Ankamah concluded that the mission of Adikanfo Chorale is spreading the gospel through music and that the home is no exception.
In her welcome address, Madam Serwaa, the caretaker of the home conveyed her deepest appreciation for the call on them – to her, the thoughts alone is a blessing.
She further disclosed that the home has been in existence since 1992 and can boost 6 University graduates, 8 Nursing training graduates, 12 teacher training graduates and 2 Masters degree holders.
Madam Serwaa remarked that it will be a great honour to host the group again especially during vacation where there will be a full house.
The group together with its patrons, executives and members presented assorted items and an undisclosed amount of money to the orphanage home.
