Ghanaian comedian, Derrick Kobina Bonney, well known as DKB, has dropped the defamation case filed against Akuapem Poloo.

DKB reported Akuapem Poloo to the police, citing that the actress and model, has defamed him.

It all started after Poloo revealed in a video that DKB has not been answering her phone calls after one Maa Alice gave him GHS 40, 000 on her behalf.

The woman at the centre of the issue later denied Akuapem Poloo’s claims.

A few days after this, DKB has said in a video seen by Newshuntermag.com that he has forgiven her.

The comedian explained that he decided to drop the case following the intervention of Sonnie Badu, Patricia Ampong and Akuapem Poloo’s mother.

“What touched my heart was that Rosemond’s mum called one of the people almost one hour on the phone wailing and crying saying she can’t even eat, that she begs, she doesn’t want any police case, any court case for her daughter again.

“So these people pleaded with me and officially I have dropped the case against her. The defamatory lawsuit I have dropped the case out of the respect I have for these people,” he said.

DKB stressed how ungrateful Akuapem Poloo has been.
