Young Ghanaian musician, Kelvyn Boy has said he is waiting for the day that veteran musicians in the country will compliment the young ones.

During an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM which Newshuntermag.com has monitored, the rising musician stressed that he cannot wait to hear veteran musicians singing the praises of the budding musicians for using a portion of their lyrics.

His statement was on the heels of Oheneba Kissi’s claim that he has infringed on his copyright.

If you would recall, the veteran musician recently revealed in a discussion with Nana Ama McBrown on UTV’s ‘United Showbiz’ program that Kelvyn Boy has been sampling his songs without his consent.

Oheneba, therefore, threatened to seek legal redress—since he hasn’t heard from Kelvyn or his management.

Meanwhile, Kelvyn Boy explained that he didn’t know that he [Oheneba Kissi] was the composer of the verse he used in his song.

He clarified that the verse in question was used at the end of the song—so he doesn’t see it to be an issue of song theft.

Henceforth, the ‘MoMo’ composer promised to do the needful.

Watch a section of his interview below.
