I Will Rise And Talk If There Is Any Nonsense Going On In This Country – Relentless Captain Smart Speaks

Suspended Ghanaian broadcast journalist, Captain Smart is not perturbed.

Following the report that he has been suspended by the management of Angel FM, Captain Smart has stressed that he will continue to comment on national issues.

The relentless media personality made this comment during a discussion with Paul Adom-Otchere on Metro TV’s ‘Good Evening Ghana’ program which was monitored by Newshuntermag.com.

“Any day, any time, if there is any nonsense going on in this country, I will rise and talk.

“I will keep shouting, I will keep pointing the mistakes. If you are a politician, it is your responsibility to either like me or hate me because you don’t feed me and until we begin to do that, we can never ever save this country,” he asserted.

Captain Smart, who is the Director of Operations at Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN), revealed he was asked to stop presenting his show mid-way on Thursday morning following a call from the owner, Dr Kwaku Oteng.

He confirmed that they were having issues with his criticism targeted at the government and some officials.

Captain Smart said he is even happy about the 30 days suspension given to him.

“I am not afraid, I am not worried, I am not perturbed, I am not disturbed, I am a happy man. I am enjoying [with] my family and the 30 days they say I should stay home, thank God I will be the happiest person,” he emphasized.
