Most People Visit The Chief Imam Just To Take Pictures; Stop Such Unnecessary Visits – Nana Romeo Advises

We have seen photos of some public figures paying a courtesy call to the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu.

While some of these personalities receive blessings from the aged-Islamic cleric, renowned Ghanaian radio presenter, Nana Romeo has said some of the visits are not necessary.

Reacting to this in a video Newshuntermag.com has chanced on, the Accra FM presenter advised the people close to the Chief Imam to regulate how often people visit him.

According to him, some of these people do that just to take pictures with him.

Looking at the age of the Chief Imam, Nana Romeo averred he needs to rest because he sometimes looks tired in these photos.

“People visit the Chief Imam every day for no special reason. Mostly just to take pictures with him. Currently, if you’re searching for an elderly person whose image is all over social media, then it’s the Chief Imam and it’s bad,” he said.

Nana Romeo further stated: “It’s about time that his advisors and the people surrounding him enact laws to regulate such practices. It is really getting out of hand. Sometimes you can tell from the pictures that the man is tired but he had no option. He is grown and therefore needs some rest.”
