Grammy Awards: Stonebwoy Earns Recording Academy Membership

Popular Ghanaian musician, Stonebwoy, known in private life as Livingstone Etse Satekla, has earned a Recording Academy Membership of the Grammy Awards.
The Burniton Music boss announced this prestigious position in a post-Newshuntermag.com that came across on Facebook.
Stonebwoy, who is happy about the good news, said he is honoured to have such an opportunity.
He opened up on his willingness to give back to music and its creators.
Stonebwoy wrote: “As part of the new @recordingacademy member class, I’m honored to have an opportunity to celebrate, represent, and give back to the music and its creators. #WeAreMusic ”
The Recording Academy Membership is for performers, songwriters, producers, engineers, instrumentalists, and other creators currently working in the recording industry.
The Recording Academy offers three types of membership. Voting Membership for recording creators, Professional Membership for music businesspeople and GRAMMY U for the next generation aspiring to a career in the music industry.
The Voting Members determine GRAMMY winners each year.
