Astute Ghanaian politician and building expert, Ambassador George Kumi has pleaded with residents to come together to fight for the development of Sunyani.
Ambassador George Kumi, who is the Chairman of the Sunyani Stakeholders for Development Association, bemoaned over how Sunyani has been neglected when it comes to development during an interview with Newshuntermag.com’s Kofi Oppong Kyekyeku on Unlimited Chat With K.O.K.
He reiterated that Sunyani, the Bono Regional capital, has been neglected for a long time.
Ambassador Kumi said residents have roles to play to ensure the development of the municipality.
With togetherness, one agenda and people fighting towards one goal, he was hopeful that Sunyani will get the needed development that the residents have been yearning for.
Ambassador George Kumi stressed that the members of the Sunyani Stakeholders for Development Association and the Traditional Authority will do their best but the residents have to also support this agenda.
He clarified that the Association will discharge its duties devoid of partisan politics.
When asked who can join the Association, Ambassador George Kumi averred anyone who has the development of Sunyani on his/her heart.
He further advised residents not to do anything that will hamper the development of Sunyani.
