Budding Ghanaian musician, Oduro Yaw Clifford, otherwise known as BigPoppa YseCliff, has showered praises to Reggae and Dancehall musicians in the country.

The ‘System Corrupt’ composer told Newshuntermag.com’s Kofi Oppong Kyekyeku in an interview on Unlimited Chat With K.O.K that Reggae and Dancehall musicians in Ghana are doing very well.

According to him, most of these musicians have learned very well to use the Jamaican patois.

BigPoppa indicated that it’s not easy to use a foreign language to propagate your message.

He added that it takes someone knowledgeable to be able to use someone’s language fluently without even travelling there.

BigPoppa mentioned Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Samini, Jupita, Epixode, Jah Lead and others as some of the Ghanaian musicians who have mastered their Dancehall and Reggae composition skills.

He added that they deserve commendation for their creativity and efforts to sell Ghana through these genres.

The budding musician urged his colleagues to fuse the patois with the local language to make their messages clearly to Ghanaians.

BigPoppa further explained why he chose to compose more Reggae and Dancehall songs.
