Ghanaian actor and politician, John Dumelo has said the current term for Presidents in Ghana is not enough.
Currently, Ghanaian Presidents are given four years per term.
Sharing his view on this in a post-Newshuntermag.com has seen, the defeated NDC Parliamentary Candidate stated that four years is not enough for any government to function effectively.
He added that the country should consider five years per term.
John Dumelo tweeted: “4 years is not enough for ANY President/ Gov to function effectively. The first year is used to settle down in the office and the last year for campaign, leaving only 2 years for effective work. We should consider 5 years per term.”
