Two individuals suspected to be armed robbers have been killed on the Kintampo-Buipe-Tamale Highway.
Four others have also been arrested, according to a statement from the Ghana Police Service that Newshuntermag.com has attained.
They are suspected to be involved in some robberies and murder cases along the Kintampo-Buipe-Tamale highway.
The statement said they engaged in a shootout with the Special Anti-Robbery Taskforce.
These suspected armed robbers are reportedly behind the killing of an international journalist, Syed Taalay Ahmad Sahib on that stretch.
