Sports Minister Receives New Black Stars Coach, Milovan Rajevac After His Reappointment

Ghana’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif, has received Black Stars new coach, Milovan Rejevac following his reappointment.

Milovan was unveiled as the new Black Stars coach on Friday, September 24, 2021, at the GFA headquarters in Accra.

He was given a one-year renewable contract.

His appointment comes after Coach C.K Akonnor was sacked.

Coach Milovan Rejevac was officially introduced to the Sports Minister at his office.

The meeting was led by the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku.

Vice President Mark Addo, General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo, Deputy General Secretary Alex Asante, Black Stars Management Committee Chairman George Amoako, Black Stars Management Committee Member Fred Pappoe, Technical Director Bernhard Lippert and the Director of Communications, Henry Asante Twum, Assistant Coach of the Black Stars Maxwell Konadu and Goalkeepers Trainer Richard Kingson were part of the delegation who met the minister.

They were received by the Sports Minister, Mustapha Ussif, his Deputy, Evans Opoku-Bobie and Chief Director, Alhaji Hafiz Adam.

Milovan Rejevac will be assisted by Maxwell Konadu and former Ghanaian international Otto Addo.

He is the only coach to have qualified the Black Stars to the quarter-finals of the World Cup.
