13th African Games: Ghana’s Black Princesses Win Gold After Defeating Nigeria 2-1

Ghana’s Black Princesses have defeated Nigeria to win gold at the 13th African Games.

Nigeria broke the deadlock of the game in the 23rd minute when Edeh Njideka scored.

Ghana equalized after 77 minutes of play through Tracy Twum.

The match was pushed to extra time after no additional goal was recorded.

In the 99th minute, Abdulai Mukarama score a vital goal for Ghana. It was a huge comeback for the Black Princesses.

At the end of it all, Ghana won the match 2-1 against Nigeria.

A massive crowd showed up at the Cape Coast Stadium on Thursday, March 21, 2024, to support the Black Princesses of Ghana.
