The Ghanaian film industry has been rebranded.
From Ghallywood and Kumawood, the National Film Authority has now announced Blackstar Films as the new name for the Ghanaian film industry.
They outdoored the new name on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at the Goldcoast Restaurant and Cocktail bar in Accra.
Following the rebranding, actress Gloria Sarfo has given an interesting reply.
She said someone should wake her up from sleep after questioning the name of the Ghanaian film industry.
“What is the name of the Ghana Film Industry again? someone please wake me up, I’m still dreaming,” Gloria Sarfo wrote in a post seen by Newshuntermag.com.
