Ghanaian Gospel musician, Evangelist Diana Asamoah has shared her view on the payment of E-Levy.
A section of Ghanaians registered their displeasure when the introduction of the E-Levy was announced at the parliament house.
While the E-Levy bill has generated some heated debates, Evangelist Diana Asamoah has said it will be beneficial.
She told ZionFelix in an interview Newshuntermag.com has watched that the E-Levy will bring development.
Evangelist Asamoah argued that it is only people who have not travelled outside the country who will oppose it.
“If you go to a country like Italy, the toll is automatic. You will not see anyone there collecting tolls, but you are compelled to pay. You pay 10 Euro on your going and the same on your return. Everything is taxed.
“In Ghana, it is because some people have not travelled before that is why they speak against tax paying and E-levy. If we were to explain the importance and the need to pay the E-Levy, it would bring great developments. People will get jobs to do, and Ghana would have been so beautiful,” Evangelist Asamoah stated.
