Popular Ghanaian musician, Livingstone Etse Satekla, widely known as Stonebwoy, has spoken against the E-Levy.
The NPP government is trying to impose the E-Levy on Ghanaians. This has attracted opposing views.
Some Ghanaian Members of Parliament were seen fighting at the August House all because of the E-Levy a few days ago.
Performing at the 2021 Bhim Concert, Stonebwoy described the E-Levy as robbing Peter to pay since the payment of tolls have been abolished.
The Burniton Music Boss, therefore, vowed to sing against such decisions by the government.
“I see them fighting the other day in parliament over what is good for us and what is not good for us. They said the E-level, but no toll. In my own ghetto mind, I see them take away the toll and now they increase E-levy. They are robbing Peter to pay Paul.
“I will sing about these things and I don’t need to be paid. Music gives me the authority to speak about the right things,” Stonebwoy stated.
